Power BI- a tool used to create insightful dashboards and support management decisions. However, Power BI is not the most intuitive – whether it is difficulty formatting, staging and slicing data, and/or choosing the right visual. In this one-hour presentation, we will dive into Power BI, troubleshoot some common data issues that first-time users encounter, and explore the different data visualizations that can effectively tell your data story. By the end of the presentation, attendees will have a basic understanding of Power BI and hands-on experience navigating the many options available. About Speaker
Ron brings 8 years of expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting and has a passion for teaching professionals leveraging data available to them and creating a story that can drive change in their organization. Beyond their professional responsibilities, Ron volunteers as the VP of Academic Relations for the Denver Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) chapter. Through this role, he strives to enlighten and inspire-students about a career in Internal Audit and the abundance of opportunities that a career in internal audit provides.
