About Speaker

Cate Soane, Project Lead Audit Data Analytics, has been with the United Airlines Internal Audit team for the past 5.5 years. Before joining United, Cate played Division I basketball at Loyola and UIC where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology (pre-med) before receiving her certification in Data Science at Northwestern University. With her programming background, Cate collaborates closely with the Internal Audit team to supercharge the department’s ability to proactively address risks and elevate overall functionality. She is an expert in leveraging data to drive efficiency, expand audit coverage, and conduct in-depth analyses that translate into strategic actionable insights.
