Xin (Cindy) Tu is an established leader with over 17 years of experience in the IT & Data Audit field. Cindy has a proven track record in establishing IT & Data Audit Frameworks for highly regulated Fortune 500 Financial Services Companies. She is currently an IT Audit Director at Discover Financial Services managing IT and Data audit portfolio. Prior to joining Discover, Cindy was with Fannie Mae and Sallie Mae with an overall 9 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry. Cindy is a CPA, CISA, CISSP, CDMC, and AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
Cindy is an Audit leader who is passionate about building partnerships with IT & Data leadership. She firmly believes that a true partnership between auditors and auditees is the real path to effectively manage risks for the company.
Additionally, Cindy is actively involved with building out Data Governance and AI Governance Framework by participating in CDMC Working Group and AI, Data & Analytics Capabilities Working Group at EDM Council.
